Operation Walk Volunteer Agreement
Each team member is required to pay a $1000 fee to Operation Walk Carolinas (charitable donation) to cover travel expenses, cost of the mission, some meals and in-country transportation. The fee is NON REFUNDABLE. Individual team members may choose to do individual fundraising to raise this fee and personal fundraising pages can be set up on the OpWalkCarolinas.org website. In addition, each individual will be provided with fundraising materials that can be distributed via social media. The full amount is due on December 31, 2019. Each individual will be responsible for the balance of the full amount at that time if not all funds have been raised. Team members who have not paid the fee will not be allowed to participate in the trip.
By signing below, I understand that if selected, I have read the Operation Walk Code of Conduct (website), expectations and social media policy (website) and agree to adhere to them in full.
I understand that as a volunteer I am a representative of Operation Walk for the duration of the mission trip and will uphold the Mission Statement, values and standard set by the organization.
As an Operation Walk volunteer, I understand that I am committed to the mission trip but also to fulfill my duties as a team member throughout the year (see attached)
I understand that if accepted I will be available for volunteer meetings and will be reachable via e-mail.
I understand that Operation Walk is not responsible for any injuries or illness or theft that may occur during the mission.
I have read and understand the above agreement and accept the terms and conditions.
