This is my first mission trip, and I could not be more excited about going! I spent 42 years working in health care, 7 as an LPN/ORT and 35 in the administrative arena. Since retirement, I have been a volunteer at Mayo Clinic Florida, serving for the last 9 years in perianesthesia services, where I met Dr. Springer and became acquainted with OpWalkCarolinas. Having had a TKA myself, I know what this surgery means for the patients being served.
