Michael Baratz

MD

I am an orthopedic surgeon from Boston, MA specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery. I completed an undergraduate degree at Northwestern University and went on to medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. I then completed the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Residency Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. Finally, I completed a fellowship program in adult hip and knee reconstruction at OrthoCarolina, in Charlotte, NC.

A great passion of mine is giving back to those in need. Some of the most rewarding experiences I have had is traveling to places in the world where access to joint replacement surgery is limited. I have previously completed missions to Nigeria in 2015 and 2017, where our team replaced the hips and knees of nearly 60 patients.

I am honored and excited to join Operation Walk Carolinas for our upcoming mission in May, 2019!

Thank you for your support!
