Honduras 2025

In February 2025, we traveled to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, to perform life-changing hip and knee replacements. These procedures not only alleviate pain but also enable patients to return to work and support their families, significantly enhancing their quality of life. This year, we operated on 42 patients, completing 34 total knee arthroplasties, 7 total hip arthroplasties, and 1 revision hip arthroplasty.

Beyond surgeries, Operation Walk Carolinas prioritizes education and training, collaborating with local medical professionals to impart advanced techniques and leaving behind essential medical supplies to bolster the community’s healthcare infrastructure.
