On behalf of Operation Walk Carolinas, we extend our deepest gratitude for your generous support of our 2026 mission trip to Honduras. Because of your commitment and belief in our mission, this year’s trip was an extraordinary success.

In February, a team of over 50 dedicated volunteers—including physicians and surgeons, nurses, therapists, and support staff—traveled to Honduras with a shared purpose: to restore mobility, independence, and dignity to patients in need. Over the course of one week, we performed more than 40 life-changing hip and knee replacement surgeries, all provided completely free of charge to individuals who otherwise would have no access to this life changing care.

The impact of these procedures extends far beyond the operating room. For many of our patients, this surgery represents a return to work, the ability to care for family, and a renewed sense of hope. None of this would be possible without the generosity of donors like you.

Your support directly enabled the procurement of surgical implants and medical supplies, the coordination of care, and the logistics required to mobilize a mission of this scale. Simply put, your contribution transformed lives.

Operation Walk Carolinas was founded on the principle that access to life-changing orthopedic care should not be limited by geography or financial means.
